Commissions

I am currently available for both commercial and personal commissioned work. I can take commercial work immediately, and I am currently booking personal work for October.
I am willing to take commissions in similar themes to the work on this website, including fantasy, romantic, gothic, as well as erotic and macabre themes. I am unwilling to paint subject matter I am not comfortable with, whether it's too extreme or just something I am not familiar with. I am happy to take commissions that allow me some creative freedom. I am unhappy if every detail of an image is dictated to me.
As for as portraits go, I am willing to do them, however I will need several high resolution photographs of the subject to be painted and I really make no promises. I am not a portrait artist and I will do my best to make sure it resembles the subject but it will not be an exact likeness.
Prices depend on the size, the chosen media, hours and level of detail. It will also vary depending on how many characters or creatures in the painting. For paintings smaller than 11x14, I will not do full-body characters, only waist and above, and on paintings smaller than 8x10 I will not do more than one person per painting. The price will also vary depending on the level of detail in the background, whether you want no background at all or something extremely detailed. Paintings smaller than 8x10 will only get low-detail backgrounds, and high-detail backgrounds are only available on 14x17 and larger paintings.
Digital works generally cost more than watercolor works. What I can do in watercolor in three days will take me a week with digital.
Sizes available for watercolor paintings: 2.5"x3.5"/ACEO, 5.5"x8.5", 8"x10", 11"x14", 14"x17" and 18"x22".
Sizes available for digital paintings: 8"x10", 11"x14" and 12"x18" are the sizes that I can print your painting at. If you are having it printed yourself or are using it for a publication that requires larger print sizes, I will paint up to 20"x24" at 300 DPI.

Artists create a lot of waste, it's just a fact of life. Realizing this, I've begun reusing printer paper to print invoices and reusing as many clearbags as possible. For these reasons, some invoices have already been printed on the backside, and some clearbags have the remnants of price tags, barcodes and tape on them. We also regularly recycle cardboard boxes that are too small or too large for shipping, and re-use boxes that aren't. It's just one of the ways I'm trying to reduce my carbon footprint.
